(An Annual Report on Team Zamzam Activities and Assessments will appear at the end of December 2024)
Total work carried out during November
Number of people fed during November:
On November 3, we conducted an inspection visit to 44 shelter centers at various locations in Zamzam. This was to inspect conditions for the displaced in order to provide assistance groups most urgently needed. We selected the shelter center Al-Nawal School because of its large size and the numbers of displaced children suffering from acute malnutrition.
We have found that the shelter centers are the largest and most impoverished areas within Zamzam camp, many in former schools, A festival of group feeding was organised to provide fresh meals to 545 families. In Al Salam School (#19) we reached 700 families.
On November 6, we provided breakfast at Salaam Boys’ Secondary School for 764 families. These centers include all categories of individuals: women, children, the disabled, the wounded, and the elderly.

(Eric) We can do more...we can provide the funds that will enable Team Zamzam to extend their reach in the rapidly growing and increasingly desperate camp:
It is now possible to make a tax-deductible contribution to our project, using a portal on the website of a 501/c/3 organization operating in Sudan. Operation Broken Silence, working primarily on health and education issues in the Nuba Mountains of South Kordofan, has created a special site for tax-deductible contributions to our project, and we hope this makes contributing to the health and well-being of the people of Zamzam easier for donors.
Those wishing to assist in funding the work of Team Zamzam may also send a check directly to Eric (Eric Reeves, 31 Franklin St., Northampton, MA 01060).
