UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has already made perfectly clear that he has no stomach for speaking truth to power in Khartoum–and this extends to his shameful reporting on Darfur. Guterres is only the latest senior UN official to accommodate, defer to, or even lie for the benefit of the regime that is now being targeted my mass protests throughout Sudan. He is as disgraceful as his predecessors as UN Secretary General and the previous head of UNAMID, as well as the African Union Peace and Security Council:
