Please help Radio Dabanga Keep Broadcasting and Publishing: Purchase a Woodturning!

Eric Reeves  |  September 7, 2018  |  https://wp.me/p45rOG-2hV

Radio Dabanga, the crucial lifeline of news from Darfur and Sudan as a whole, faces ongoing financial difficulties. If Radio Dabanga ceases to broadcast and publish, millions of people in Darfur—and elsewhere in Sudan and the Sudanese diaspora—will lose all touch with realities on the ground, including the accelerating economic collapse that is making life intolerable for more millions of Sudanese. A fine documentary short by Al Jazeera makes clear just how important Radio Dabanga is | https://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/listeningpost/2018/09/catch-kill-trump-media-allies-hasten-downfall-180901070424259.html (begin at minute 13)

I will donate the proceeds from a purchase of one or more of my woodturnings to Radio Dabanga—100% of all proceeds from every sale designated as a for Radio Dabanga will help keep Darfur from turning into the “black box” that the Khartoum regime wishes to create:

(Proceeds from sales not designated as for Radio Dabanga will go to humanitarian organizations working in Darfur and other marginalized regions of Sudan, as well as to organizations working in South Sudan.)

Prices range from $30 – $140 (shipping costs vary, but are below actual costs—and shipping costs for more than one woodturning are only $1 each):
