Highly contagious, alarmingly deadly if untreated, cholera finds a natural environment in crowded city such as Juba during the rainy season; more than 1,000 cases and 27 deaths have been reported. Yei, Kajo Keji in Central Equatoria and Kaka in Upper Nile have also reported cases.
